Steizuello is a high-energy, four-piece, instrumental, jazz-fusion group consisting of Abbie Steiling on acoustic and electric violins, Nick Schlueter on Rhodes and keyboards, Rick Steiling on basses, and Harvey Love on drums. Drawing from a wide variety of influences, Steizuello presents a sound that can only be described as "jazz-usion-ock" -- a hearty blend of jazz, fusion, and prog-rock influences. Individually, the musicians in Steizuello have considerable performance experience, playing in venues around the country and around the world and in settings ranging from rock bands to orchestras to jazz ensembles. They come together in Steizuello to create and perform music that is a cohesive blend of their four unique musical personalities. Steizuello's tunes are original compositions, and are always performed "live." Their unique and energetic improvisation gives the band a voice like none other.The group's first full length CD titled Send Help! was released in May, 2012 and will be available for purchase at the show.
