Throughout his career, Javier Mendoza has been a storyteller. He has given us many passionate, personal songs in both English and Spanish. For the new all-Spanish album, Javier continues this journey of personal exploration, but adds a folklore/traditional perspective to the mix. It all adds up to a unique experience, and even if you don't speak Spanish you will understand what this collection of songs and stories has to say.

Three years ago Javier met Arturo, Patricia, Emilio and Lily. Lily was born with a severe form of Cerebral Palsy. Arturo and Patricia gave up everything in Spain and came to the United States in search of the best treatments and doctors to help their daughter grow and continue to improve her quality of life. They founded Lily's Wellness Foundation. Their mission is to provide a Neurological Educational Support System for children with special needs and their families, seeking methods of treatment that enable children to reach their fullest potential and ultimate wellness.
