Advance reservations are necessary. Tickets are limited! The tour departs from The Sheldon Art Galleries at the times listed above.
The third annual Sheldon Art Galleries architecture tour features three significant homes designed by Paul Rudolph (1918-1997), William Adair Bernoudy (1910-1988) and Isadore Shank (1902-1992) in Warson Woods, Town and Country, and Ladue. This is a rare opportunity to view some of the best examples of modernist and mid-century design in St. Louis. The Sheldon Art Galleries will be open from 12 – 2 p.m. for viewing of Made in the Shade: Paul Rudolph's Florida Houses Revisited, and a Gallery Talk by Andrew Raimist, Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, on the architects featured on the tour will be held at 12 p.m. in Bernoudy Gallery of Architecture at The Sheldon.
Please note: Because this is a tour of private homes, accessibility cannot be guaranteed.
Proceeds benefit the exhibitions and educational programs of the Sheldon Art Galleries.
The event is made possible in part by Pairings A Catering Company, Chris Kaplan, Ted Wight and Cannon Design.
