Locally and nationally renowned percussionist and marimba virtuoso Kevin Lucas brings his own Kevin Lucas Orchestra to the Sheldon Concert Hall on the Notes from Home series. If you have never seen KLO in concert, it's an event not to be missed. With the rhythmic styling of drummer Jayson Murray, the timely bass precision of Justin Wiley, the harmonic and technical skills of Lee England Jr., the vocal and guitar talents of Andy Waldron and the insane four-mallet whirlwind of Kevin Lucas, you will not go away disappointed. As one of the winners of the Billboard Songwriting Contest in the 'Americana/Folk' category, the group looks to build on their success and show their appreciation for their hometown St. Louis fans by performing at The Sheldon. They have landed two 'Top 100' singles in the FMQB Adult Contemporary national radio charts with their Billboard winning "I'm Not Ready" and their arrangement of the famed holiday song "Carol of the Bells." KLO has made many St. Louis appearances including the 2011 St. Louis Art Fair and the Tim Ezell Morning Show on Fox 2 TV.
