ArtSounds: Blues and Bling Gallery Benefit at the Sheldon Art Galleries
Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 7 - 10 p.m.
Sheldon Art Galleries supporters showed off their best "Blues and Bling"
at the annual ArtSounds benefit on November 19. Blues singer Kim
Massie and her band brought the house down with a fun-filled performance
throughout the galleries of a St. Louis-themed blues composition by
Sheldon executive director Paul Reuter. Patrons enjoyed themed
cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres and desserts by Triumph Grill, presenting
a sneak peak of Grand Center's newest restaurant - soon to be revealed!
Sheldon board member Mary Pillbury Wainwright supplied the "bling,"
selling exquisite jeweled pieces from her jewelry company, with a
portion of sales benefiting the Sheldon Art Galleries. Special thanks
to event underwriters Jeanne and Rex Sinquefield, sponsors RKL
Consulting, Peggy Walther Symes and Anabeth and John Weil, and media
partner St. Louis Magazine for making this sparkling evening possible!
